This Ford GT40 Mk IV was driven by Bruce McLaren and Mark Donohue s they finished fourth in the 1967 24 hour race of Le Mans. Having qualified on pole - dropping back to fourth would have been a fairly disappointing result for the duo driving the legendary Shelby Ford GT40 in the stunning yellow and black livery. However the Shelby American team would still have walked away happy with Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt Jr taking the win in another one of the three cars they had in the race - displaying their dominance in the 60s.
